NEPSE Index Falls by 3.44 Points to Close at 2,620.39 Amid Turnover of Rs. 9.24 Arab

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a marginal decline of 3.44 points, or 0.13%, to close at 2,620.39 on the trading day. Despite the slight drop in the index, market activity remained strong, with a total turnover of approximately Rs. 9.24 Arab.
A total of 81,985 transactions were executed during the session, involving the trade of 21,905,311 shares across 322 listed companies.
On today’s NEPSE trading session, NMIC, CREST, and OMPL hit their positive circuit limits, showing strong buying interest from investors. These stocks reached the maximum price increase allowed for the day.
In contrast, WNLB hit the negative circuit, meaning it dropped to the lowest limit set for daily trading, indicating heavy selling pressure.
SHPC recorded the highest turnover of the day, with the largest value of shares traded among all listed companies.
