The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a notable gain of 27.14 points (1.01%) , closing at 2,689.22. This rise reflects renewed investor confidence and positive momentum across the market.

Trading activity remained robust, with the total turnover reaching Rs. 8.54 Arab, indicating strong market participation. A total of 69,364 transactions were executed during the session, involving the trade of 21,841,047 shares from 320 listed companies.

In today’s trading session on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), CORBL, GRDBL, and SAPDBL all hit their upper circuit limits, reflecting strong buying pressure and significant investor interest in these stocks.

On the other hand, Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) experienced a sharp decline, falling by 9.69%, marking the maximum drop for the day. This could be attributed to profit-taking or negative market sentiment surrounding the stock.

Despite the decline, BHL emerged as the top turnover company of the day, leading in both trading volume and value, signaling that it attracted the most market activity and investor focus despite its fall in price.
